Launch Project

Soon after its establishment in 2011, the National Institute for Civil Discourse needed to establish its web presence. After building their site, our partners at NuCivic recommended them to DrupalSquad for launch support. Confident they were in good hands, the NICD signed to a standard plan that continues to this day. Allowing the NICD to work to depolarize discussion and inspire elected officials to collaborate, all with the confidence their site is updated and secure.

Forum One

Sick of facing the turbulent nature of client work alone, the prestigious drupal design and development shop Forum One simply asked for help. And DrupalSquad answered. Since 2013, a dedicated engineering team has bolstered Forum One’s existing resources providing the support necessary to manage fluctuations in customer needs. Feast or famine, we eat together.

MIT

In 2013, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) standardized on Drupal. As issues with the new platform popped up, the resources of the Office of Information Technology became split between support tickets and their project to develop a private cloud service. MIT quickly realized they didn’t have the appropriate capacity to meet their strict timelines. With deadlines looming, they contracted DrupalSquad to relieve the support and maintenance burden, and allow the OIT to focus on the cloud service development.

OGP

Since their formal launch in 2011, the Open Government Partnership has seen an explosion of support. The original multilateral initiative of eight countries has been bolstered by an additional 67 countries. And is responsible for more than 2,500 commitments towards government transparency and accountability. Our partners at NuCivic built their website and recommended the OGP to DrupalSquad for launch support. We signed them to a standard plan including our extremely popular a la carte ticket service for support and development. We are proud to continue supporting the OGP as they empower citizens on a greater and greater scale.

BMWCCA

The bad news arrived in May of 2013. The BMW Car Club of America had lost its hosting provider. The Club would need a new host and Drupal support provider. Not a small task. BMWCCA boasted 70,000 members and their complex Drupal 6 site had been built with substantial amounts of custom code and third-party integrations. After an in-depth audit of their site, DrupalSquad helped migrate all 67 nationwide chapters to Acquia for hosting. Then established an enterprise maintenance plan for full time support and development. A year later, BMWCCA trusted DrupalSquad to upgrade their website to Drupal 7 and optimize their tools for the new hosting environment.
