Launch Project

When the Organic Consumers Association (OCA) relaunched their website in 2014, they trusted DrupalSquad with the construction of a clearinghouse to service several thousand businesses across the natural and organic foods market. Built entirely from scratch on Drupal 7, the site was populated with over 25,000 articles migrated from a proprietary ColdFusion based content management system and integrates various third-party systems including Salsa CRM. The OCA site now serves as a hub to hundreds of thousands of activists who are looking to inform communities and activate consumers to change how we interact with food.

Firmstep

In 2014, the U.K. based consulting firm, Firmstep, realized they had a problem we all wish we had. Their growth outpaced their capacity. As long time users of our a la carte maintenance and development ticket system, they turned to DrupalSquad for help. Happy to take the relationship to the next level, DrupalSquad managed the migration of over 30 of Firmstep’s client sites to one of our optimized drupal hosts, Pantheon. Then instituted a full time engineering team to give Firmstep the flexibility to match their growth. And the confidence to keep that growth growing.

AIR

As one of the world’s largest behavioral research organizations, we at the American Institutes for Research (AIR) provide data to hundreds of organizations including think-tanks, school districts, federal agencies, and state governments. In 2014 we reorganized to better develop and maintain the hundreds of websites we provide our clients. With Drupal as our preferred platform, we sought a trusted developer with good standing in the community, who could handle the volume of development work we had to offer. Enter DrupalSquad. Currently, we work with a dedicated team of talented Drupal engineers to provide support, maintenance, and consulting to dozens of our client sites. And when a project needs more muscle? The capacity for development is a click away.

Forum One

Sick of facing the turbulent nature of client work alone, the prestigious drupal design and development shop Forum One simply asked for help. And DrupalSquad answered. Since 2013, a dedicated engineering team has bolstered Forum One’s existing resources providing the support necessary to manage fluctuations in customer needs. Feast or famine, we eat together.

PDM

A few months before their famous, annual New York conference, Personal Democracy Media broadcasted an email campaign promoting early-bird registration. But their website failed to process registrations. With their hosting provider unable to help, each passing moment meant lost business or dissatisfied clients. PDM needed a reliable Drupal developer on the fly. DrupalSquad had helped PDM previously, and were first on their list. We quickly diagnosed a conflict between their version of php and a server upgrade. We instituted a short-term workaround and recommended PDM migrate to one of our preferred Drupal optimized host. Crisis averted for the second time, PDM signed on to a long term maintenance plan so we could keep them out of the ditch and ahead of the curve.
